LUSH - Our Community in Bloom Garden

One of the main objectives of the Cedar Green Plan is to beautify the school and make it a more aesthetically beautiful place to study and learn.

We are proud to have new Sec 1/2 members who are very passionate about gardening.  We may not have green fingers but we are definitely a team that is eager to make the beautiful connection.

This page will be dedicated to the milestones of the Lush garden, managed by our own Community In Bloom committee.

Milestones

In 2011
  • January: There was a small herb and spice garden near the staircase of the classroom block. Plans were made to reconstruct a new garden in its place
  • The herbs were uprooted and the land was ploughed to remove grass
  • The garden was separated into nine plots and bricks were bought
  • Bricks were laid in a decorative manner by slanting them
  • The first plants brought in were lemongrass, mint, pandan
